Welcome to the Link Share page of the Fall 2001 Teachers on the Net class.
This class is sponsored by the Fulton County (Georgia) Staff Development
office. Developed and taught by Matrix Magic, the Teachers on the Net class
is offered almost every term.
Not every entry from the fall term is included here. Some entries could
not be read, and as is often the case on the web, some entries have simply
ceased to exist. This page is not be updated and so entries will continue
to degrade.

This is an EXCELLENT site about The Crucible.
There is a discussion about what is true in the book and what Arthur Miller
invented. This site will help you answer the many questions the students
will have about the accuracy of The Crucible. |

allows you to research information. When I typed in Roman games and hit
search icon, it gave me websites to look up games for my World History
class. It also gives you other information like how the weather is. |

Neat idea to teach the use of food labels and
how it relates to the Food Guide Pyramid. The site allows students to practice
creating balanced meals. |

Activities(Human Karyotypes) |
This lessson is a great idea for my birth defect
unit in Child Psychology. After studying birth defects from information
gathered on the internet, students are paired then given certain traits.
They will determine what the chances are according to dominant and recessive
genes that a child produced with the traits given for each partner will
have for example: blue eyes, dimples, freckles, straight hair or a long
second toe. This practice will help them understand how recessive genes
cause cystic fibrosis, PKU, muscular dystrophy. |
